Edwin Hizer DAYTON was the child of Aristides DAYTON and Julietta VREDENBURGH
Dayton-Shorey Wedding,
Auburn, Aug. 8. At 6:30 last evening a pretty homo wedding took place at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Shorey at No. 112 Owasco street, when their only daughter, Miss Grace Louise Shorey, became the bride of Edwin Hlzer Dayton of this city. The bridal couple, standing
under a banner of smllax in the center of which was suspended a large floral horseshoe of tea roses, and among a profusion of palms, wore Joined In the holy bonds of matrimony by the Rev. George T. Webb, pastor of the Second Baptist church, assisted by the Rev. Frank. D.
Penny of North Adams, Mass.
Miss Emma Booth acted as bridesmaid and George Booth was groomsman.
After a bountiful wedding supper, the bride end groom left amidst a shower of rice for a short trip in the East.
Mr. and Mrs. Dayton will take up their residence in this city at No. 175 Van Anden street.

The Dayton Obsequies
The funeral of Grace Louise Shorey, wife of Edwin H. Dayton, was largely attended at the Second Baptist church this afternoon at 2:30. There was a profusion of beautiful floral designs. Rev. F. L. Wilkins and Rev. H. C. Moyer were the officiating clergymen. The bearers were Arthur Pierce, George Willetts, Fred Hamilton, Noyes Price and James Patrick. Interment was in Fort Hill.
