Marie-Josephte FORTIER  was born 29 May 1728 in Saint-Jean-de-l'Île-d'Orléans, Québec, Canada (Saint-Jean).  Marie-Josephte died 18 February 1767 in Saint-Michel-de-Bellechasse, Québec, Canada.  Marie-Josephte was the child of Joseph FORTIER and Suzanne PLANTE.

Basile  married  (2) Marie-Josephte NADEAU 17 May 1774 in Québec, Province of Québec, Canada .  Marie-Josephte NADEAU  was born 25 December 1739 in Beaumont, Québec, Canada (Saint-Étienne-de-Beaumont).  Marie-Josephte died 16 March 1811 in Québec, Québec, Canada (Quebec City).  Marie-Josephte was the child of Denis NADEAU and Elisabeth-Marie ROY.

Basile GOSSELIN died 4 February 1810 in Québec, Lower Canada .
