Charles LETARTRE (LETARTE)  was born 21 August 1718 in Neuville, Portneuf, Québec, Canada (Saint-François-de-Sales).  Charles died 24 March 1799 in Verchères, Québec, Canada (Saint-François-Xavier-de-Vercheres).  Charles was the child of René LETARTRE (LETARTE) and Marie-Anne GARNEAU.
