Joseph  married  Gertrude CARON 20 April 1700 in Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, Canada, New France .  Gertrude CARON  was born 10 February 1681 in Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, Québec, Canada (Beaupre).  Gertrude died 24 November 1701 in Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, Québec, Canada (Beaupre).  Gertrude was the child of Jean-Baptiste CARON and Marguerite GAGNON.

Joseph  married  (2) Marie BOIVIN 30 October 1702 in Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, Canada, New France .  The couple had (at least) 15 children.
Marie BOIVIN  was born 20 May 1685 in Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, Québec, Canada (Beaupre).  Marie was the child of Pierre BOIVIN and Étiennette FAFARD.
