Michel POITEVIN dit GAGNÉ  was born 12 March 1741 in Saint-François-du-Lac, Québec, Canada.  Michel died 25 May 1819 in Yamaska, Québec, Canada (Saint-Michel-d'Yamaska).  Michel was the child of Joseph GAGNÉ dit POITEVIN and Jeanne COUTURIER dite LABONTÉ.
