Marie-Josephe DESMARAIS  was born 6 October 1724 in Saint-Sulpice, Québec, Canada.  Marie-Josephe died 1 February 1755 in L'Assomption, Québec, Canada (St-Pierre-du-Portage).  Marie-Josephe was the child of Jacques DESMARAIS and Marie-Louise PROVOST (PREVOST).

Jean-Baptiste  married  (2) Marie-Louise BEIGNET 8 January 1759 in Saint-Sulpice, Canada, New France .  Marie-Louise BEIGNET  was born 25 August 1735 in Saint-Sulpice, Québec, Canada.  Marie-Louise died 18 April 1819 in L'Assomption, Québec, Canada (St-Pierre-du-Portage).  Marie-Louise was the child of Charles-Etienne BEGNIER (BESNIER) and Marie-Genevieve LESCARBOT (LESCARBEAU).
