"The 27th of November, eighteen hundred ninety-two, seeing the publication of one ban of marriage made at the homily of our parish mass of last Sunday, and seeing the dispense of the publication of the two other bans, accorded by the most reverend Monsieur Bourgeault, Vicar General of his Excellency, Monsignor Archbishop of Montreal on the date of the 22nd of the current month, to Isaac Surprenant, farmer residing in this parish, adult widow of the late Eulalie Montminy, in her life of this parish, on the one part, and to Mathilde Langevin, residing in this parish, adult widow of Michel Duquette, also of this parish, on the other part, having been declared without impeachment to this marriage, we the undersigned priests, have received their mutual consent to marriage of the parties in the presence of Remi Surprenant, son of the husband, and Arthur Duquette, son of the wife, who along with the parties, stated that they didn't know how to sign. Statement done. "
