Paul Richard Gaudette, 82, of Mashpee, formerly of Dracut, passed away peacefully at home after a six month battle with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, on December 15, 2020. He was the beloved husband of Christine Gaudette for 35 years and son to the late Simon and Genevieve Gaudette.
Paul initially worked in the printing industry, working for the Courier Citizen in Lowell and The Denver Post in Denver, CO. He then worked as a building inspector in Dracut and Assistant Building Commissioner in Lowell. Most recently he was a general contractor and built their retirement home in Mashpee. Paul enjoyed creating things out of wood, most notably clocks and ornate cutting boards.
He was an avid skier, for over 40 years made annual ski trips to Colorado and Utah with 'The Guys'. He was a biking enthusiast, and rode 15 to 20 miles several times a week. He loved riding bikes so much he even rode a few miles while on chemotherapy. He loved being 'Captain Paul' on his boat, taking family and...Read MORE...
