Jean CAYA (CAILLA)  was born 9 June 1702 in Champlain, Québec, Canada (Notre-Dame-de-la-Visitation).  Jean died 30 April 1792 in Batiscan, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Geneviève-de-Batiscan) (Saint-François-Xavier).  Jean was the child of Pierre CAILLA (CAILLE) (CAILLEAU) (CAYA) and Marie-Thérèse HOURAY (HOURE) (AURE).
