Louis  married  Marie-Amable DALPE dite PARISEAU 7 November 1757 in L'Assomption, Canada, New France .  Marie-Amable DALPE dite PARISEAU  was born 10 November 1733 in L'Assomption, Québec, Canada (St-Pierre-du-Portage).  Marie-Amable died 24 March 1760 in L'Assomption, Québec, Canada (St-Pierre-du-Portage).  Marie-Amable was the child of Pierre DALPE dit PARISEAU and Suzanne GAREAU dite ST-ONGE.

Louis  married  (2) Catherine FOREST 8 November 1762 in L'Assomption, Canada .  The couple had (at least) 1 child.
Catherine FOREST  was born 30 November 1744 in Amherst, Nova Scotia, Canada (Beaubassin, Acadia) (Fort Lawrence).  Catherine died 1 October 1811 in L'Assomption, Québec, Canada (St-Pierre-du-Portage).  Catherine was the child of Joseph FOREST and Marie Anne GIROUARD.

Louis DESMARAIS died 4 September 1801 in L'Assomption, Lower Canada .
