Delia Belle CONGDON was the child of James Hedley CONGDON and Artemisia DAWSON and the grandchild of: (paternal) James Hedley CONGDON and Lurana PHILLIPSDelia Belle CONGDON died 24 July 1908 in Wallingford, Vermont, USA .
She was deaf, mute, and was murdered at her home in East Wallingford, Vermont by Elroy Kent; he was later executed on January 6, 1912 at the Vermont State Prison from not by hanging, but from a somewhat-failed hanging: the rope snapped as soon as the trap door opened and died from shock once he hit the floor.
