Joseph-Marie  married  Catherine GUYON (DION) 18 July 1763 in Saint-François-de-la-Rivière-du-Sud, Province of Québec, Canada .  Catherine GUYON (DION)  was born 11 February 1742 in Berthier-sur-Mer, Québec, Canada (Berthier-en-Bas) (Berthier).  Catherine died 30 November 1766 in Saint-Henri, Québec, Canada (Saint-Henri-de-Lauzon).  Catherine was the child of Joachim GUYON and Jeanne FONTAINE.

Joseph-Marie GAULIN died 9 February 1798 in Montmagny, Lower Canada .
