(Thompson) Johnson, a resident of Burlington for 46 years, passed away at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House on Tuesday morning, July 22,2008. She was 74 years old. Carol was born in Newton. She was the daughter of the late Betrand H. and Christina M. Thompson. She was raised and educated in Hanover. Carol and her late husband Robert moved to Burlington in 1962 where she devoted her life to creating a loving and caring home for her husband and four children. Carol was an avid bowler and belonged to several bowling leagues over the years. She also loved to go golfing. She enjoyed arts and crafts and was quite talented. Carol enjoyed traveling and had visited such places as the Caribbean Islands, Costa Rica, Florida, and the West Coast to name a few. Carol had an outgoing personality and enjoyed many friendships.
