EDITH COATES WALSH

Edith Coates Walsh, 88, formerly of Statesville, died Saturday, June 15, 1996, at the Summit in Ashevllle. She was born in Stockwell, England, and was the daughter of the late William N. and Jane Elisabeth Liddington Coates. She was married to Joseph E. Walsh, who died In 1962. She was a member of St Phillip the Apostle Catholic Church in Statesville. She is survived by her son, Ronald Walsh of Leicester, two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, Winston-Salem, with Father Connell McHugh officiating. Memorials may be made to one's local Catholic church. Grace Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
