Sulpice CHAPUT was born 11 February 1808 in Saint-Sulpice, Québec, Canada. Sulpice died 12 February 1852 in L'Assomption, Québec, Canada (St-Pierre-du-Portage). Sulpice was the child of Bonaventure CHAPUT and Marie Louise Judithe (Julie) LIPPE.
From its inception in the early 1600s until 1760, it was called Canada, New France.
