Joseph  married  Marguerite PELLETIER 7 February 1763 in L'Assomption, Province of Québec, Canada .  Marguerite PELLETIER  was born abt. 1742 in Québec Province, Canada (Quebec).  Marguerite died 23 July 1783 in L'Assomption, Québec, Canada (St-Pierre-du-Portage).  Marguerite was the child of Étienne PELLETIER and Marie-Josephe PEPIN.

Joseph  married  (2) Agathe LOYER 3 August 1784 in L'Assomption, Province of Québec, Canada .  Agathe LOYER  was born 12 January 1738 in Repentigny, Québec, Canada (La Purification-de-Repentigny) (St-Paul-l'Hermite).  Agathe died 17 March 1810 in L'Assomption, Québec, Canada (St-Pierre-du-Portage).  Agathe was the child of Gabriel LOYER dit DESNOYERS and Marie-Angélique BEAUDOIN.

Joseph PAYET died 10 November 1802 in L'Assomption, Lower Canada .
