Charles  married  Genevieve BARIBEAU 3 February 1736 in Batiscan, Canada, New France .  Genevieve BARIBEAU  was born 17 June 1720 in Batiscan, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Geneviève-de-Batiscan) (Saint-François-Xavier).  Genevieve died 24 August 1771 in Grondines, Québec, Canada (Saint-Charles-des-Grondines).  Genevieve was the child of Pierre BARIBEAU and Marie-Madeleine-Catherine DESSUREAU (DESSUREAUX) dite LAPLANTE.

Charles DUMONT died 19 December 1789 in Saint-Stanislas, Quebec, Canada.
