Jacques  married  Marie-Catherine PAILLE 13 June 1738 in Louiseville, Canada, New France .  Marie-Catherine PAILLE  was born 28 October 1715 in Rivière-du-Loup, Québec, Canada (Fraserville) (Riviere du Loup en Bas) (Saint-Patrice).  Marie-Catherine died 3 April 1740 in Louiseville, Québec, Canada (Saint-Antoine-de-la-Rivière-du-Loup).  Marie-Catherine was the child of Charles PAILLARD (PAILLE) and Françoise LEMAITRE dite AUGER.

Jacques  married  (2) Catherine TROTTIER 18 February 1744 in Louiseville, Canada, New France .  The couple had (at least) 1 child.
Catherine TROTTIER  was born 15 February 1717 in Louiseville, Québec, Canada (Saint-Antoine-de-la-Rivière-du-Loup).  Catherine died 24 September 1766 in Louiseville, Québec, Canada (Saint-Antoine-de-la-Rivière-du-Loup).  Catherine was the child of Pierre TROTTIER and Jeanne MERCEREAU.

Jacques  married  (3) Catherine-Therese RICHARD 24 October 1786 in Batiscan, Province of Québec, Canada .  Catherine-Therese RICHARD  was born 1 November 1715 in Neuville, Portneuf, Québec, Canada (Saint-François-de-Sales).  Catherine-Therese died 12 January 1787 in Louiseville, Québec, Canada (Saint-Antoine-de-la-Rivière-du-Loup).  Catherine-Therese was the child of François RICHARD and Marie-Angélique BERTRAND.

Did You Know? Québec Généalogie - What is a 'dit/dite' name?  When the first settlers came to Québec from France it was a custom to add a 'dit' nickname to the surname. The English translation of 'dit' is 'said'. The Colonists of Nouvelle France added 'dit' names as distinguishers. A settler might have wanted to differentiate their family from their siblings by taking a 'dit' name that described the locale to which they had relocated. The acquiring of a 'dit' name might also be the result of a casual adoption, whereby the person wanted to honor the family who had raised them. Another reason was also to distinguish themselves by taking as a 'dit' name the town or village in France from which they originated. This custom ended around 1900 when people began using only one name, either the 'dit' nickname or their original surname.
