St. John's Roman Catholic Church, Bainbridge, was the setting March 3 for the marriage of Miss Pamela Alice Monahan and Gary G. LeFever. The Rev. Peter Gleba officiated at the 1:30 p. m. ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. James V. Monahan of Bainbridge are the parents of the bride. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George LeFever of Guilford. The bride was escorted to the altar by her parents. Mrs. Fred Mostert was matron of honor. Mrs. Diane Babcock, Mrs. Philip Wood, sister of the bridegroom, Mrs. Fred Peck and Mrs. John He-drickson were bridesmaids. John Scheidegger served as best man with Larry Monahan, brother of the bride, Philip Wood, Harold Alger Jr. and Burt Drumm Jr., brother-in-law of the bridegroom, ushering. Completing the wedding party as flower girl and ring-bearer were Denise Mertz and Kevin Lord, cousin of the bride. Following the ceremony, a reception was given at the Masonic Temple in Sidney. The new Mrs. LeFever, a graduate of Bainbridge-Guilford High School, owns and operates Lady Fair Beauty Salon, Bainbridge. LeFever attended Bainbridge-Guilford High School. He served with the U. S. Army including a tour of duty in Vietnam. The LeFevers are living in Bainbridge.

Pamela M. LeFever, 66, of Unadilla, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at her home in Unadilla. Pam was born on April 23, 1946 in Bainbridge, daughter of the late James and Arlene (Orth) Monahan. She graduated from Bainbridge-Guilford High School in 1964 and went on to Cosmetology School in Oneonta. She owned and operated Pam's Beauty Salon in Unadilla for 32 years. She also worked as a hair dresser for local funeral homes. On March 3, 1973, Pam was married to Gary LeFever in Bainbridge.
Pam had an overwhelming dedication to both the Bainbridge and Unadilla communities and truly believed in supporting others. She was well known for her involvement in numerous endeavors, including supporting soldiers overseas and the Nativity in Bainbridge. She was active with the Girl Scouts, acting as a leader and a cookie chairperson. She chaired the General Clinton Canoe Regatta for 6 years and for four years catered the Bainbridge...Read MORE...
