EGAN, James M., Jr.

James M. Egan, Jr., 56, died on Saturday (January 1, 2005). Born in Meriden on Dec. 23, 1948, he was the son of Barbara (Lietz) Egan of Avon and the late James M. Egan. He was employed by Pratt & Whitney Power Plant Division in East Hartford, and was a Vietnam era Veteran having served with the U.S. Navy. Besides his mother, he is survived by two sisters, Kathy Watson of Greensboro, NC, and Mary Bailey of Naples, FL; and a brother, John Egan of Greensboro, NC. There will be a private memorial service and burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, New Britain. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 E. Main St., Meriden.
