Deceased Name: Ronald C. Cook

FRANKLIN - Ronald C.'Jake' Cook 88 of Franklin died September 14 in the Maples Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Wrentham. He was the husband of the late June (Hughes) Cook, who died in 1987.

Born in Attleboro, November 20, 1922, the son of the late Ralph W. and Hazel (Wash-burn) Cook, Mr. Cook was lifelong Franklin resident.

He was a 1940 graduate of Franklin High School and a 1942 graduate of Wentworth Institute.

Mr. Cook had been the co owner of R.W. Cook and Sons Company in Franklin for many years.

Mr. Cook served in the Navy during World War II as a naval aviator. He attained the rank of Lieutenant First Class.

Jake, continued to fly as his favorite pastime for many years following the War.

He is survived by his children, Linda Hildebrand of California, Joanne Travers of Nebraska, Ronald Cook, Jr. of North Carolina, Jeffrey Cook of Boston, James Cook of Florida and...Read MORE...
