Marie LEGRAIN dite LAVALLÉE  was born 5 February 1718 in Chambly, Québec, Canada (Saint-Joseph-de-Chambly).  Marie died 7 December 1742 in Saint-Mathias-sur-Richelieu, Québec, Canada (Pointe-Olivier).  Marie was the child of Adrien-Charles LEGRAIN dit LAVALLÉE and Thankful Louise Therese STEBBENS.

Jean-François  married  (2) Marie-Josephte GIRARD 4 May 1751 in Chambly, Canada, New France .  The couple had (at least) 1 child.
Marie-Josephte GIRARD  was born 18 April 1725 in Varennes, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Anne-de-Varennes).  Marie-Josephte died 9 March 1761 in Saint-Mathias-sur-Richelieu, Québec, Canada (Pointe-Olivier).  Marie-Josephte was the child of Etienne GIRARD and Genevieve BRUNEL.

Jean-François BESSETTE (BESSET) died 21 April 1794 in Saint-Mathias-sur-Richelieu, Lower Canada .
