Obituary
An illness lasting over a period of several months, culminated in the death of Erskin C. Robison Sunday night at the Limestone Hospital, where he had been moved from his home on South Clinton Street.
Mr. Robison was born in Limestone County, Dec. 28, 1878 and with the exception of a few years in South Alabama, spent his entire life here where he was prominent in political and business circles. For 40 years he was a loyal and faithful member of the Church of Christ and it was there his body was carried Monday, April 6, for the last service which was conducted by Bros. A. J. Rollings and M. A. Creel. Interment was made at Reunion Cemetery with McConnell Service directing.
Surviving are the wife and eight children, Lee Robison, Anniston; Fred A. Robison of Alexander City; J. H. Robinson of Evergreen; Sam P. Robison of Mendin, La.; Mrs. Ruth Hadway, Athens, Ga.; Mrs. Lynn Nowak, New York; Mrs. Mary Johnson, Huntsville; and Miss Sarah Robison of Athens; four brothers, Foster,...Read MORE...
