Louis  married  Marie-Madeleine LAPORTE 9 January 1758 in L'Assomption, Canada, New France .  Marie-Madeleine LAPORTE  was born 12 February 1740 in Repentigny, Québec, Canada (La Purification-de-Repentigny) (St-Paul-l'Hermite).  Marie-Madeleine was the child of Jean-Baptiste LAPORTE and Madeleine-Francoise DESFORGES.

Louis GAGNON died 9 August 1792 in L'Assomption, Lower Canada .
