Times Union, Jacksonville, Florida 23 Nov 1922
John A. Y. Speirs, 44, a resident of Stuart, died in this city yesterday after a brief illness. Mr. Speirs was a native of Ontario, Canada, and had resided in Florida for 20 years. He was a contractor and builder.
The body accompanied by his wife, was sent last night to Stuart where interment will take place. Arrangements were in charge of Moulton & Kyle.
