Marguerite ROY dite CHÂTELLERAULT  was born 10 October 1705 in La-Pérade, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Anne-de-la-Perade).  Marguerite died 7 May 1788 in Batiscan, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Geneviève-de-Batiscan) (Saint-François-Xavier).  Marguerite was the child of Edmond ROY dit CHÂTELLERAULT and Marie-Anne JANVIER.
