Jean-Baptiste  married  Madeleine MERCEREAU 7 April 1739 in Champlain, Canada, New France .  Madeleine MERCEREAU  was born 10 February 1717 in Montréal, Québec, Canada (Sault-au-Récollet) (Côte-St-Michel) (Côte-St-Paul).  Madeleine died 6 August 1758 in Saint-Charles-sur-Richelieu, Québec, Canada.  Madeleine was the child of Pierre MERCEREAU and Marie-Louise GUILLEMOT dite LALANDE.
