Joseph  married  Geneviève CADOT 17 February 1794 in Batiscan, Lower Canada .  Geneviève CADOT  was born 19 November 1763 in Batiscan, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Geneviève-de-Batiscan) (Saint-François-Xavier).  Geneviève died 10 November 1831 in Champlain, Québec, Canada (Notre-Dame-de-la-Visitation).  Geneviève was the child of Augustin CADOT and Marie-Josephe COSSETTE.

Joseph TROTTIER died 30 April 1820 in Batiscan, Lower Canada .
