Obituary
Nils Krantz, a resident of Valhalla all his life, died May 30, 2002. He was born August 23, 1928 to the late Oscar and Amanda Liljistrom Krantz. He married the former Ida Mae Brundage on November 5, 1950. Mr. Krantz is survived by two sons Gary and Richard, three grandchildren, his sisters June Hunter of Florida and Anita Foley of Fishkill and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his grandson Richard T. Krantz and one sister Sonja Ryder. Nils was very active in the Masons, belonging to the White Plains and Pleasantville Lodge. He served in the Army during the Korean War and is retired from RCA Service Co. where he was employed for 39 years. Resting, Friday 7-9 pm at Beecher Funeral Home, Pleasantville where services will be held Saturday at 12:30 pm. Interment will follow at Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name to The American Lung Association of Hudson Valley, 35 Orchard St., White Plains, NY 10603-9924.
