Frederick Stone died on November 4, 1910. He was born in Indiana and moved from there to Iowa. The deceased settled in Harvard county, Nebraska, twenty-five years ago.

He was united in marriage to Miss Oline (sic) McCormick many years ago. To this union was born three children: two sons and one daughter, Ida, George and Alva, all of whom with their mother, survive him.

The deceased was a soldier, serving two years in the Civil war.

Mr. Stone was 68 years and 11 months old at the time of his death. He was a dutiful husband, a loving father and a good neighbor. Mr. Stone was a member of the M. E. church and has led a faithful Christian life for many years. He will be missed by a large circle of friends. The bereaved wife and children have the sympathy of the entire community.

The remains were laid to rest in the Loup Valley cemetery last Sunday, Rev. W. M. Arnold having charge of the services.
