Inez B. Cobb
NORWAY - Inez B. Cobb, 99, of Greenleaf Avenue and formerly of Minot, died Saturday at the Ledgeview Nursing Home, West Paris, where she had been a resident for several years.
She was born April 22, 1883, at Hollis, the daughter of Charles and Mary Ware Phillips. She received her education in the Kennebunk schools. She had a fishing tackle business from her own home for 15 years, supplying L.L. Bean, Woodman's Sporting Store and many others. She taught music in her home for many years. She was a member of the Minot Corner Methodist Church where she was church organist and in charge of Sunday School for over 45 years. She was past president of the WSCS, a former member of the Eastern Star and Grange. She was a member of the Norway Methodist Church and a former member of the Music Club in Auburn. She was married to J. William Cobb, who died in 1968.
Survivors include one daughter, Abbie Winslow, Norway; a grandson; five great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
