Passed away at 10 a.m. Monday at his residence after a prolonged illness. Funeral arrangements will be made later by the Gugel Funeral home.

Tatroe, John H., 2552 Benjamin Street
Retired farmer, passed away 10 a.m. Monday at his residence after a prolonged illness. He was born June 15, 1870, in Birch Run. He married Harriet Elwell October 26, 1904 in Clio, wyho survives him. They have lived in Saginaw since 1904. Besides his wife, he leaves two daughters and three sons, Mrs. Merwin Boshaw****, Mrs. Mary Strahan******, Melvin Tatore, Walter Tatroe, all of Saginaw; Charles Tatroe of St. Charles; thirteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild, Merlin Boshaw, who is missing in action in Korea; he also leaves one sister, Mrs. Flora Davies, Grand Rapids. Funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday from the residence and at 2 p.m. from First Nazarene Church. Rev. H. T. Stanley will officiate, with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Mr. Tatroe may be seen at his residence after 6 p.m. Tuesday. Arrangement by the Gugel Funeral Home.
