SOUTHBRIDGE - Rubia C. "Ruby" (Pinsonneault) Durocher, 70, of 103 Pine St. died yesterday at her home after being stricken ill.


She leaves her husband of 47 years, Gerard Durocher; two sons, John G. Durocher of Dudley and Jacques R. Durocher of Dracut; a sister, Lillia Renaud; a brother, Laurier Pinsonneault, both of Southbridge; five grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Her daughter, Joanne Durocher Guillet of Dudley, died in 1986. She was born in Southbridge, daughter of Joseph and Eva (Theriault) Pinsonneault.

Mrs. Durocher was a keypunch operator at Hyde Manufacturing before her retirement. She previously worked at American Optical Co.

She was a member of Notre Dame Church, where she was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne Sodality and the Bingo Workers. She was a member of Harrington Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, Dr. Van's Cardiac Group and Southbridge Women's Club.

The funeral will be held tomorrow from Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Notre Dame Church, 446 Main St. Burial will be private. Calling hours at the funeral home are 9 to 9:45 a.m. tomorrow. Memorial contributions may be made to the Notre Dame Church Restoration Fund, 61 Marcy St., Southbridge, 01550; or to Dr. Van's Cardiac Group, Harrington Memorial Hospital, 100 South St., Southbridge, 01550.
