Mrs. Ida Cole Long,95.died unexpectedly at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at her home,331 East Tipton Street. She had been in her usual health and had eaten a light meal shortly before she was srricken.
Mrs. Long was born November 5,1851 near Morristown,Ind.,to Fredric M. and Martha Dale Cole. She was reared in Noblesville and as a young woman came to Andrews where she married Charles Morgan Long.
The family came to Huntington in 1888. The husband died in 1919.
Surviving are a son;Ernest D. Long,Jackson,Mich.:a daughter,Miss Bessie M. Long,at home;a grandson,Robert Long,and two great grandchildren,David and Lucendia Long,all of Jackson,Mich.
Mrs. Long was the last of a family of six children. A sister died three weeks ago in Kentucky. She was a member of the Centrel Christian church.
The body was removed to the Briggs funeral home where friends may call.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Briggs chapel with the Rev. Charles I. Stephenson officiating.
Burial will be in Riverside cemetery at Andrews...

Organ music was by Esther Davis.
Pallbearers were L.L. Roudebush,Frank Crews,H.F. Halsey,Arthur Mitchell,Harold Johnson, and Charles Sagers....
Burial was in Riverside cemetery at Andrews.
