STURBRIDGE - Hermas LeBoeuf, 78, of 10 Shepard Road, formerly of Southbridge, a molder for many years, died Thurday night in Harrington Memorial Hospital, Southbridge, after he was stricken ill at home.
His wife, Louise A. (Piette) LeBoeuf, died in 1979. He leaves two sons, David A. LeBoeuf of Sturbridge and Albert R. LeBoeuf of Fort Worth, Texas; a brother, Roger LeBoeuf; a sister, Rejane G. Gaumond, both of Southbridge; nephews and nieces. He was born in Southbridge, son of Romeo and Yvonne (Lippe) LeBoeuf, and lived most of his life in Southbridge and Sturbridge.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II, serving in Europe.
Mr. LeBoeuf was a molder at American Optical Co. in Southbridge, where he worked for 35 years. He retired in 1977.
He was a member of the American Optical Quarter-Century Club; Leonide J. Lemire Post, Veterans of Foreign Wars, in Southbridge; and Sturbridge-Fiskdale Post, American Legion.
The funeral will be held Monday from Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge, with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Anne & St. Patrick's Church, 16 Church St., Fiskdale. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Calling hours are 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Harrington Memorial Hospital, Hospice Home Care, 61 Pine St., Southbridge 01550.
