Funeral services from the Murphy Funeral Home, 20 Annandale Road, Wednesday, January 25 at 1 o'clock. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours Monday and Tuesday evenings 7 to 9 P.M.

Joseph L. Browe, Electrician, Dies

Joseph L. Browe, 75, of 33 Earl Ave., died at Newport Hospital this morning after a short illness. He retired 12 years ago after being a quarterman electrician at the power plant at the Naval Base.

He was born in Fall River on Feb. 22, 1895, the son of Peter and Elizabeth Potevin Browe. He was a Navy veteran of World War I and served in combat overseas. He was a member of the Newport Engineering Society.

Survivng are his wife, Mrs. Arline McLellan Browe; a son, Gerald C. Browe of Middletown; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Murphy Funeral Home.
