Deceased Name: Jeannette Nadeau
Jeannette Nadeau, 88, of 10 Warren St., Nashua, died Sunday, May 6, 2001, at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua.

Mrs. Nadeau was born April 13, 1913, in Webster, Mass., daughter of the late Hyacinthe and Emma (Michaud) Chauvin. She lived in Nashua for most of her life.

She was the wife of Louis Nadeau of Nashua, with whom she would have celebrated 67 years of marriage in August.

Mrs. Nadeau worked as a seamstress at the former Memorial Hospital in Nashua until retiring in 1978.

She enjoyed cooking, quilting, and needlework. She was an avid bowler, belonged to the Senior Activity Center and was a member of the Senior Citizens Club.

Mrs. Nadeau went to St. Francis Xavier School and attended Nashua High School.

She was predeceased by three brothers, Napoleon, Albert and Peter Chauvin and four sisters, Emma Lambert, Rose Boyer, Marie Louise Chauvin and Rose Chauvin-Provost.

Besides her husband, survivors include a son, Ronald Nadeau of Manchester a daughter and son-in-law, Claire and Homer Grooms of Nashua five grandchildren, Gail Landry, Kenneth and Debra Grooms, Nancy-Lee and Timothy Rodden, William and Lisa Grooms and Stacey Nadeau six great-grandchildren: Shannon Grooms and her companion, Shawn Ottman, Jonathan Grooms, Patrick Landry, Brian Landry, Gabrielle Rodden and Emily Rodden a great-great-grandchild, Erin-Lee Grooms and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The St. Laurent Funeral Home in Nashua is in charge of arrangements.
