Norma P. Szkutak
February 25, 1934 -- April 26, 2004
THOMPSON -- Norma P. Szkutak, 70, of Thompson Hill Rd., died Monday at the UMASS Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, MA, following an extended illness.

She was born in Webster, MA on February 25, 1934, a daughter of the late George and Mae (Ostberg) Korch. Mrs. Szkutak was the wife of Edward J. Szkutak, whom she married on November 4, 1972 in Thompson.

Norma was employed for many years as a cementer as Bates Shoe Company in Webster.

In addition to her husband, she leaves one daughter, Robin Dumouchel of Putnam, two brothers Donald Korch of North Grosvenordale and Harold Korch of Putnam, two sisters Jane Plaza and Barbara Kopas, both of Dudley, MA, four grandchildren Kerri and Kyle Connors, Thomas Dumouchel and Angie Loyde, as well as four stepchildren. She was predeceased by one son, Gary Korch.

The funeral and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Valade Funeral Home, 23 Main Street, North Grosvenordale, is assisting with the arrangements.
