Obituary

Doris Mae Haegele Scheetz, 87 of Kenefick, TX passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at her residence with her family by her side. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, May 6, 2012 at Kenefick Southern Baptist Church in Kenefick. Grave side services will be in Fairfield, IL. in Knootz Cemetery under the direction of Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne, IL on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at 2:00 PM. Those attending the graveside service are asked to go directly to the cemetery. A gathering of Doris's family and friends will be from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at the church.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Harold William Scheetz; son, Robert Eugene Scheetz. She was a member of Kenefick Southern Baptist Church. She was also a former member of the Liberty Art League.

Doris is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Sue (Suzie) Huffman and husband, Daniel Sr. of Stanley, North Carolina, Linda Kaye Tate and husband, Jaymie of Kenefick, TX, Peggy Scheetz McClain and husband, Kevin Sr. of Pearland, TX.; brother, Elmer Eugene Haegele of Wayne City, IL; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.
