Obituary



Southbridge: Charles M. Trombley, 77, of Marjorie Lane, passed away on Monday, July 23rd, in the Harrington Memorial Hospital, Southbridge, after an illness.

He leaves his loving wife of 33 years, Joann M. (Chick) Trombley; three sons, Brian M. Embair of Sturbridge, Jason M. Embair, and Joshua D. Embair of Southbridge; two daughters, Kellie Trombley of Warren and Brenda Barth of NH; five brothers, Bernard Trombley, Michael Trombley, Gary Trombley, Richard Trombley and Robert Trombley; two sisters, Dixie Supra and Wanda Ruzzolli; his ten grandchildren, Devon, Caleb, Julia, Nicholas, Aidyn, Alivia, Sierra, Jonathan, Ryliegh, and Peyton. He was predeceased by a brother, Eugene Trombley and two sisters, Vivien Lamica and Viola Recore.

He was born in Malone, NY the son of William and Irene (Lamica) Trombley.

Charles worked as a machine technician for Amerbelle in Ct, for 12 years and previously as an assembly line worker at General Motors in Framingham for 28 years.

He enjoyed yard sales, going out to eat, playing cards, listening to Oldies and watching old Westerns. Charles loved taking long rides with Joann, working around the yard and his house and watching all the wild animals he cared for. He especially loved the birds in his yard as well as his two dogs, JJ and Moo Moo who he always took for rides and long walks to Westville Dam recreation area. He looked forward to the holidays and enjoyed decorating his house. Charles cherished his family and loved his time he spent with family and friends at local Turkey and Ham Shoots.

Calling hours for Charles will be held on Tuesday, July 31st, from 5:00 to 7:00pm in the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge, with a funeral service to follow in the funeral home at 7:00pm. Burial will be private.
