Mrs. David M. French-Gray, Maine

Daisy E. French, 92, died Wednesday at Portland Nursing Home after a short illness.

She was born in Edmunds June 23, 1884, the daughter of John and Josephine Abbott Dodge. She attended school in Whiting and lived there for more than 30 years.

Mrs. French was formerly employed for more than twenty years in the Pineland Hospital and Training Center.

She leaves her husband, David M. French of Gray, a son Philip R. Stanley of North Windham; a daughter, Mrs. Madeline Smith of South Weymouth, Mass., 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and 4 great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Wilson Funeral Home, the Rev. Homer Studenroth officiating. Interment will be in the Gray Village Cemetery.
