LAWRENCE, Lillian M. (Broshjait)

Lillian M. (Broshjait) Lawrence, 90, widow of John W. Lawrence, formerly of Glastonbury, entered into her eternal life on Wednesday, (March 28, 2001) in a local convalescent home. Born in New Haven, daughter of the late Frederick (Frederick "George") and Matilda (Klein) "Tillie" Broshjait, she lived most of her life in Glastonbury, moving to Tolland in her later years to live with her son and his wife. She leaves four sons and their wives, William and June Lawrence of Oxnard, CA; Robert and Carol Lawrence of New Bern, NC; Peter and Claudette Lawrence of East Hartford; and Allen Sr. and Maryann Lawrence of Tolland; a daughter-in-law, Sue LaBonne, of Vernon; nine grandchildren Lynnann, Mark, Joseph, Carol Ann, John, Michael, Tina, Sherri, and Allen Jr.; 19 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held Friday, March 30, 11 a.m. in the Glastonbury Funeral Home, 450 New London Tpke., Glastonbury. Burial will follow in St. Augustine's Cemetery, So. Glastonbury. Friends may call at the funeral home, TODAY 7-9 p.m. and Friday 10-11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Visiting Nurse and Health Service of Conn., 8 Keynote Dr., Vernon, 06066.
