Edna Mae Ferris, 51, of Hartford, died Thursday (Feb. 25, 1999) at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford. Born in Hartford she was a lifelong resident. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall Jehovah's Witnesses, Hartford South Congregation. She leaves her children, Yvette Ferris of Windsor, William E. Ferris of Hartford, Paula Ferris of Manchester, Oren L. Ferris of East Hartford, and Willie Lee Ferris of Hartford; two brothers, Kenneth Ames of East Hartford, and Roy Ames of Tampa, FL; 10 grandchildren; special friends, Susan Sable of Bloomfield, Karen and Patricia Cooper, Milan Flynch all of Windsor, Susan King of Bloomfield, and Timmy Williams of Hartford her many friends at St. Francis Hospice and Mercy Housing, her spiritual brothers and sisters at the Kingdom Hall in Hartford and on the Boulevard in West Hartford. A service in her memory will be Monday (March 1), 7 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall Jehovah's Witnesses, South Windsor Congregation, 630 Burnham St., South Windsor. Her family will gather at 236 High Path Rd., Windsor, following the services. Memorial donations may be made to the Kingdom Hall Jehovah's Witnesses, Hartford South Congregation, 1340 Boulevard, West Hartford 06119.
