ANDERSON. Hazel (Blessing) Anderson, 80, of East Hartford, wife of Frank F. Anderson, passed away Friday (Jan. 28, 1994) at her home. Born in Hartford, she had resided in the Hartford area for all of her life. She was a communicant of St. Christopher Church, East Hartford, and a member of the Church Ladies Guild. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by the F.W. Woolworth Co., for over 30 years. Besides her husband of 43 years, Mrs. Anderson is survived by a brother, Robert F. Blessing of East Hartford; two sisters, Esther Cody of West Hartford, and Frances M. Blessing of East Hartford; a brother-in-law, Gordon R. Anderson of Winchester, N.H.; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Tuesday, Feb. 1, 1994, 9:45 a.m., from the Newkirk & Whitney Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Ave., East Hartford, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10:30 a.m., in St. Christopher Church, 538 Brewer St., East Hartford. Burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Sunday, Jan. 30, 1994, 2-5 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Visiting Nurse and Home Care Association of East Hartford, 70 Canterbury St., East Hartford 06118.
