"Mrs. Leroy P. Fletcher
Mrs. Edith (Crouss) Fletcher, wife of Leroy P. Fletcher of Spruceland avenue, died yesterday following a long illness. She was born in Pittsfield January 22, 1878, daughter of George and Augusta (Bird) Crouss. Her parents moved to Agawam and she later attended the Connecticut Literary institute in Suffield, Ct. She was married in 1898 when she moved to Springfield, where she has resided ever since. Besides her husband, she leaves a daughter, Mrs Wesley Foss of Greenfield, and a son, Leroy P. Fletcher, Jr., at home; two sisters, Mrs George W. Edwards of Pittsfield and Mrs Ward Thompson of Agawam, and two brothers, Willard Crouss and Charles Crouss of Agawam. Mrs Fletcher attended Faith Congregational church. The funeral will be held at the parlors of the Dickinson-Streeter company tomorrow afternoon at 2, following an organ prelude at 1:30. Rev Dwight L. Cart will officiate and burial will be in Springfield cemetery."

"The funeral of Mrs. Edit (Crouss) Fletcher, wife of Leroy P. Fletcher of 30 Spruceland avenue was held at the parlors of the Dickinson-Streeter company yesterday afternoon, following an organ prelude by Lowis W. Dunbar. Rev Dwight L. Cart officiated. Bearers were Floyd Oatman, Wesley Foss, Harold Richards, Stanley Curtis, Ralph Thompson and Howard Thompson. Burial was in Springfield Cemetery."
