SAUNDERSTOWN, RI--Stephen L. Proctor, 44, of 51 Pamela Court, Saunderstown, RI, died at home, May 3, 2006, after a courageous fight against A.L.S.

He was the beloved husband of Lisa Blessing Proctor and the loving father of his twin daughters, Lauren Rae and Kara Rene Proctor.

Born in Nashua, NH, March 12, 1962 and raised in Portsmouth, RI, he was a son of Richard Briggs Proctor and Dorothy Ann Pearson Proctor. Stephen graduated from URI with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and received a Masters in Business from Plymouth State College. He worked in Marketing at Arkwright in Fiskeville, RI.

Besides his wife, children and parents he leaves behind three brothers, Richard Proctor of Windham, NH, Roger Proctor of Grafton, MA and Thomas Proctor of Richmond, RI; and a sister, Brenda Bliss of Hatchville, MA.

His funeral will be held Saturday, May 6, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. from the Fagan-Quinn Funeral Home, 825 Boston Neck Road, North Kingstown, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 a.m. in Christ the King Church, 180 Old North Road, Kingston, RI.

Burial will be in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown.

Visiting hours Friday, May 5, 2006 from 4-8:00 p.m. and Saturday, May 6, 2006 from 9-10:00 a.m.
