KULPA, Chester A.

Chester A. Kulpa, 88, died on Thursday, (December 29, 2005) in Baystate Medical Center. Born in Chicopee, he lived in Wilbraham for the past two years. Previously, he lived in Manchester, and Glastonbury. An avid aviation enthusiast. Chester was a proud retiree of Pratt & Whitney Aircraft, after 35 years of service. He was the devoted husband of 66 years of Frances M. (Pirog) Kulpa of Wilbrabam. He also leaves two loving daughters, Joanne K. Schiller and her husband, Thomas of East Longmeadow, and Francine K. Cowles and her husband, Barry of Hebron; a sister, Stella Lubiak of Chicopee; and two grandchildren, Teresa C Melnik and her husband, William of Somersworth, NH, and Bryan T. Cowles of Middletown. Funeral service and burial will be private. Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: N.E. Air Museum Restoration and Educational Program, Bradley International Airport, 36 Perimeter Rd., Windsor Locks, CT 06096.
