LASKER, Joseph
Joseph Lasker, husband of Dorothy (Blessing) Lasker of Glastonbury, died Monday, (December 13, 1999) in Glastonbury Health Care Center. He was born in Hartford, son of the late Barnet and Clara (Rosenthal) Lasker and was a lifelong resident of the area. Prior to his retirement he was an inspector at Pratt and Whitney Aircraft. Besides his wife, he leaves three daughters, Nancy Stackhouse of Georgetown, TX, Carole Wice of Bloomfield, Holly Maiorano of Marlborough; eight grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter, Judith Marenzana. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 15, at 2 p.m. in the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Road, Wethersfield, with Rabbi Stephen Mason officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1:30-2 p.m. on Wednesday. Friends may also call at the home of Carole Wice, 24 Hampton Lane, Bloomfield. Memorial donations may be made to the Glastonbury Health Care Center, c/ o The Residents Fund, 1175 Hebron Avenue, Glastonbury, 06033.
