Catherine Timewell, 88, of Ogdensburg

Graveside services for Catherine Timewell, age 88, of 8103 State Highway 68, Ogdensburg, will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at Notre Dame Cemetery at 9:30 a.m. with Rev. F. James Shurtleff officiating. Mrs. Timewell passed away on April 26, 2012 at United Helpers Adult Home. Arrangements are with Frary Funeral Home, Ogdensburg.
Mrs. Timewell is survived by two daughters, Shirley St. Germain, of Ogdensburg, and Edith Hilllyard, of Logan Lake, British Columbia; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Arnold Hooper of Ogdensburg, and Silas Hooper, Jr. of Canton; and two sisters, Eva Buskey, of Sarance Lake, and Isetta Pero, of Liverpool. She was predeceased by one sister, Irene Hooper and six brothers, Francis, Roy, Clifford, Clarence, Ernest, and Donald.
Mrs. Timewell was born on March 22, 1923 in Tupper Lake, the daughter of Silas and Delia (Blair) Hooper, Sr. She married Francis Timewell in 1946 in Ogdensburg. She worked at Newell Manufacturing, The Dinburg Glove Factory, United Helpers Orphanage, and Augsbury Corporation.
Mrs. Timewell enjoyed working on puzzles and listening to country music.
