Obituary of Agnes Sliter

Agnes H. Sliter, a lifelong resident of the area, passed away Saturday, June 1, 2013 at Highland Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Middletown, NY. Agnes was 88 years old. Daughter of the late George and Elizabeth Gordon Smith, she was born January 1, 1925 in Salisbury Mills, NY. Agnes was a retired Teacher's Aide with Monroe-Woodbury Central School Dist., Central Valley, NY. She was the widow of Donald W. Sliter.

Survivors include her daughter Dawn E. Termini and her husband William of Monroe, NY; her sister Catherine Hawxhurst of Avon, NY; her grandchildren Brian and Kaitlyn Termini, nieces and nephews. Along with her husband Donald, she was predeceased by her brother George Smith.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Avenue, Monroe. A funeral service will be held at 10 am Thursday, June 6 at Monroe United Methodist Church, 47 Maple Avenue, Monroe, NY 10950, officiated by Rev. Kimberly Bosley. Interment will follow in Monroe Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to Monroe United Methodist Church.
